P538 | NAVIGATOR 12.5 O
The Navigator 12.5 o Patrol & Intercept Vessel is a heavy-duty, high-capacity tactical craft designed by KND for intensive maritime security, law enforcement, and rapid troop insertion. Engineered with a rugged aluminium planing hull and a streamlined open console superstructure, this expansive vessel features a length of 12.76 meters, a beam of 3.76 meters, and a draft of 0.72 meters. It operates with a maximum full-load displacement of 12.07 tons and carries Bureau Veritas (BV) classification alongside HPi CE proof certification. The open deck layout is heavily optimized to transport a large tactical complement of up to 12 pax.
For high-speed response and interception, the vessel relies on an outboard propulsion configuration delivering a combined 900 bhp. This configuration propels the craft to a maximum speed of 43 knots and a sustained cruising speed of 35 knots. Drawing from a 1,200-liter fuel capacity, the vessel achieves an operational range of 251 nautical miles at cruise speed. To maximize weight efficiency, deck space, and overall performance, the boat carries 0 liters of fresh water and entirely omits an onboard generator or air conditioning system.
The onboard electrical network operates on a 230 VAC and 48 VDC power supply to manage its high-end electronics. Crew situational awareness and mission navigation are driven by an advanced pack featuring a large 16-inch multi-function display (MFD), VHF DSC, an AIS-B system, a 4 kW radar, an autopilot, a 1 kW sonar, and an integrated NMEA2000 backbone. For high-risk combat or intercept environments, operators can choose to equip the platform with ballistic protection as an optional extra. These preliminary concept-level estimates remain subject to change without notice pending final design development.
