The Navigator 8 Patrol & Intercept Vessel is an agile, aluminum-hulled tactical craft designed by KND for police and harbor patrol operations. Built with a planing hull and an open console superstructure, this highly responsive boat measures 8.29 meters in length overall, has a beam of 2.75 meters, and draws just 0.33 meters of water. It features a maximum full-load displacement of 2.66 tons and is certified under CE and Grey Boat Code classifications, backed by HPi CE proof and Bureau Veritas documentation. Tailored for rapid single-day missions, the boat carries an 880-liter fuel capacity to support a 6-passenger tactical complement, completely omitting fresh water and waste water storage to maintain a lightweight operational footprint.

The vessel relies on dual outboard propulsion configurations engineered to deliver exceptional velocity during interception maneuvers. The standard recommended setup features twin 250 hp engines yielding 500 hp total to achieve a maximum speed of 58.6 knots and a cruising speed of 43.5 knots, burning 82.5 liters per hour at cruise to cover a 417-nautical-mile range. For maximum high-speed response, an upgraded configuration with twin 300 hp engines providing 600 hp total propels the boat to a blistering top speed of 63 knots and a cruising speed of 46.7 knots. This high-power choice consumes 99 liters per hour at cruise, adjusting the total operational range to 374 nautical miles.

Operating with a 230 VAC and 24 VDC power supply backed by a recommended 330 Ah house battery bank, the open console completely foregoes an onboard generator or air conditioning system. Mission operations are managed via a basic navigation pack featuring a 9-inch multi-function display, VHF DSC, GPS, and depth/speed instrumentation, with an AIS system available as an optional add-on.
