P468 | NAVIGATOR 6 FIRE

The Navigator 6 Fire is a compact, highly specialized emergency response vessel designed by KND for rapid-intervention marine fire and rescue operations. Built with a rugged aluminium planing hull wrapped in a protective Foam D fender and paired with an enclosed aluminium wheelhouse, this nimble craft measures 5.90 meters in length and 2.50 meters in beam, with a draft of 0.50 meters. Operating under a maximum full-load displacement of 1,670 kg, the vessel carries a Grey Boat Code and CE classification and is optimized to support an operational crew complement of 1 operator plus 3 emergency personnel.

For emergency transits, the boat utilizes a single outboard propulsion configuration compatible with Mercury or Yamaha engines delivering between 100 to 150 bhp. This setup allows the craft to reach a maximum speed of 30 knots and maintain a cruising speed of 19 knots. Supported by a 190-liter fuel capacity, it achieves an operational range of 115 nautical miles at cruise speed, while entirely foregoing fresh water and waste water storage to maintain a lightweight, high-buoyancy profile during active firefighting tasks.

The vessel’s electrical network runs on a 12V DC power supply supported by two 100Ah batteries to power its navigation and communication suite, which consists of a Garmin GPS, a VHF radio, standard navigation lights, and a compass. Rather than hosting a traditional generator for lifestyle amenities, its auxiliary power configuration integrates a dedicated onboard firepump system, with alternative firepump sizes available as an optional extra to meet specific harbor or coastal safety requirements.
