The Waste Warrior 8 Pollution Control Vessel by KND is a specialized environmental utility craft engineered for shoreline and harbor cleaning operations. Constructed entirely from marine-grade alloy, it features an aluminium displacement hull and a matching aluminium superstructure. Measuring 7.8 meters in length overall with an exceptionally wide 4.4-meter beam, this shallow-draft workboat draws just 0.14 meters of water, allowing it to easily clear surface debris in restrictive shallows. The vessel operates at a maximum full-load displacement of 2.92 tons and complies with CE and Grey Boat Code classification standards under Bureau Veritas validation. It features an open deck configuration optimized for a 2-person crew, integrating a debris collection well at the bow, multiple flush deck hatches, and split 1.3-cubic-meter below-deck cargo storage tanks.

The platform offers two recommended single-engine propulsion configurations that both deliver a steady working and transit speed of 6.7 knots from a 120-liter onboard fuel tank. The standard layout utilizes a single 60 hp outboard motor, which consumes 9.9 liters of fuel per hour to achieve a 73-nautical-mile operational range. For heavier duty cycles, an alternate shaft and propeller arrangement pairs with a 150 hp inboard engine connected to a stern-drive unit. This higher-horsepower option increases fuel burn to 18 liters per hour, narrowing the cruise range to 40 nautical miles on a single-day endurance basis. Additional liquid storage consists of a 50-liter fresh water capacity.

Despite its compact size, the vessel supports an efficient electrical grid and navigation suite driven by a 230 VAC and 12 VDC power supply, a recommended 4,570 Ah house battery bank, and a 3.6 kW / 4.5 kVA generator set. This system supplies electricity to a 5,000 BTU/h air conditioning unit for the steering console area, which is sheltered under a collapsible awning and windscreen assembly. Mission electronics are centered on a 12-inch multi-function display (MFD) fitted with VHF DSC, AIS-B, an autopilot, a 600 W sonar, and a radar dome. Compulsory safety gear completes the setup, including an all-round white light, collapsible mast lights, a magnetic compass, a sound signal device, and emergency flares.
