P759 | WORKSTAR 770
The Workstar 770 Multipurpose Vessel by KND is a rugged and highly adaptable utility craft featuring an aluminium planing hull and an open console superstructure configuration. Designed to execute a wide variety of marine roles including patrol, hydrographic survey, and general workboat duties, this monohull has a physical profile measuring 7.52 meters in length overall with a 2.39-meter beam and a shallow 0.46-meter draft. Certified under CE classification standards with Bureau Veritas (BV) and HPi CE proof validation, the robust platform handles a maximum full-load displacement of 2.92 tons.
Structurally engineered around a 500mm frame spacing layout, the vessel’s open-deck architecture maximizes usable workspace and technical flexibility. The helm features a standalone center console with a windshield and a protective overhead hardtop canopy, providing the operator with clear 360-degree visibility. Forward of the console, the open deck integrates built-in port and starboard seating banks alongside multiple heavy-duty deck hatches arranged at the bow, amidships, and stern quarters for secure sub-deck storage. For lifting and transport logistics, the hull is equipped with dedicated aft lifting points and forward lifting points on both the port and starboard sides. The deck is rated to carry a 6-person complement on a standard operational baseline.
To deliver the high-velocity sprint performance and rapid acceleration necessary for tactical interception and coastal transits, the platform utilizes an outboard engine propulsion arrangement drawing from a 300-liter integrated fuel capacity. Driven by a twin outboard motor configuration delivering a combined 300 bhp of installed power (profiled with high-output Yamaha outboards), the craft achieves a maximum speed of 44 knots and a swift, stable cruising speed of 35 knots. Operating at its designated 35-knot cruise velocity, the powertrain configuration yields an active operational range of 192 nautical miles at a full 2.92-ton displacement.
The vessel’s onboard electronics, tactical instrumentation, and service grids run on a dual 230 VAC and 48 VDC electrical supply network. Reflecting its open-console design, a standard generator set (genset) and air conditioning are omitted from the base specifications, though the electrical backbone is built to accommodate extensive power expansions. The helm station is outfitted with an advanced basic navigation pack centered on a 12-inch multi-function display (MFD). This bridge core integrates a VHF DSC radio, an AIS-B transponder, an autopilot, a 600 W sonar, and a radar system fitted with an 18- or 24-inch dome. To customize the vessel for specialized industrial or emergency missions, KND offers advanced upgrades under its optional extras, including a deck crane, a fire pump, and a dedicated generator. In accordance with KND’s engineering documentation, these preliminary parameters represent concept-level estimates that remain subject to final design development and change without notice
