The Hurricane 23 FP is a 23.63-meter high-speed craft designed by KND and built to Bureau Veritas classification standards. It features a high-performance aluminium planing hull paired with an aluminium or FRP wheelhouse that can be optionally equipped with ballistic protection. The vessel has a beam of 5.40 meters and a draft of 1.00 meter, with a maximum full-load displacement of 50.8 tons.

In terms of performance and propulsion, the craft is powered by a 2,000 bhp system—compatible with Volvo Penta, Boudouin, or MTU engines—utilizing either water jets from MJP, Hamilton JET, or Doen, or an IPS system. This configuration allows for a maximum speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots, offering an operational range of 566 nautical miles at its cruising pace.

The Hurricane 23 FP is designed to accommodate a complement of 33 people and is equipped with essential capacities, including 6,000 liters of fuel, 654 liters of fresh water, and 528 liters of waste water. Onboard electrical systems consist of a 12V DC ship system and 220V VAC shore power, supported by a 22 kVA genset. The vessel is fully air-conditioned and features a navigation suite comprising a compass, GPS/plotter, AIS, VHF DSC, and specialized high-speed craft instrumentation. Optional enhancements such as a foam system, bow thruster, and additional seating are also available to meet specific mission requirements.
