P686 | SNAPPER 13

The Snapper 13 Fishing Vessel by KND is a robust commercial angling and catch platform designed with a marine-grade aluminium displacement hull and a matching aluminium wheelhouse superstructure. Measuring 12.00 meters in length overall with a wide beam of 4.70 meters and a draft of 0.51 meters, this vessel operates at a maximum full-load displacement of 17.11 tons. Certified under the Grey Boat Code classification standards with Bureau Veritas and HPi CE proof validation, the craft is expertly configured to accommodate a 5-passenger complement. Onboard operational and living requirements are supported by integrated tank capacities holding 250 liters of fresh water and 70 liters of waste water.

For steady and reliable long-range marine transits, the vessel’s propulsion system relies on a dependable shaft and propeller arrangement powered by heavy-duty marine engines sourced from Volvo Penta, Baudouin, or MTU, generating a total of 500 bhp. This displacement configuration delivers a maximum speed of 8 knots and a matching standard cruising speed of 8 knots. Supported by an extensive 5,000-liter onboard fuel capacity, the Snapper 13 achieves a continuous operational range of 562 nautical miles at its 8-knot cruising velocity, providing excellent offshore endurance for extended fishing deployments.

The vessel’s electrical infrastructure runs on a dual 230 VAC and 24 VDC power supply network supported by a 5 KVA generator set, which fully powers an integrated full air conditioning system to maintain a comfortable, climate-controlled cabin environment. Comprehensive situational awareness and precise navigation are managed via an advanced electronics pack featuring a 16-inch multi-function display (MFD), VHF DSC radio, AIS-B++ transponder, a 4 kW radar, an autopilot, a 1 kW sonar, and a unifying NMEA2000 backbone. As with other models in the KND line, these preliminary technical specifications remain subject to change to allow optional extras and final layouts to be customized to a client’s specific requests.
