P644 | SEAVIPER 15
The SeaViper 15 Patrol & Intercept Vessel by KND is a rugged tactical craft meticulously engineered with an aluminium planing hull and a fully enclosed matching aluminium wheelhouse/superstructure. Purpose-built to handle high-intensity coastal patrol, maritime law enforcement, and tactical littoral interception, this robust platform features a commanding physical profile measuring 15.00 meters in length overall (LOA) with a 4.40-meter beam overall and a deep, stable 1.09-meter draft. Certified under Bureau Veritas (BV) classification standards, the vessel is structurally optimized to absorb high hydrodynamic loads while safely accommodating a standard operational complement of 10 persons on a 1-day endurance baseline at a maximum full-load displacement of 25.20 tons.
To ensure the exceptional sprint speeds, rapid throttle responsiveness, and shallow-water operational safety required for tactical intercept missions, the SeaViper 15 relies on an advanced jet drive propulsion arrangement. Driven by a main engine configuration delivering an immense 1,500 bhp of installed power, the vessel achieves a maximum speed of 39 knots and a swift, steady cruising speed of 31 knots. Operating continuously at its 31-knot cruise setting and drawing from a massive 5,000-liter integrated fuel capacity, the powertrain yields an outstanding operational patrol range of 647 nautical miles. Multi-day deployment readiness is further backed by localized liquid logistics infrastructure, including 250 liters of fresh water storage and a dedicated 70-liter waste water holding tank.
The vessel’s comprehensive electronic networks, tactical communication suites, and primary services run on a dual 230 VAC and 48 VDC electrical power supply system. To satisfy the continuous power demands of the crew cabin and localized electronics, the architecture integrates a 5 KVA auxiliary generator set (genset) that seamlessly runs a high-output marine air conditioning system ensuring full climate control. The enclosed command wheelhouse is outfitted with an advanced 16-inch multi-function display (MFD) navigation core that integrates a VHF DSC radio, an AIS transponder, a radar system, an autopilot, and a sonar transducer. A standard legally mandated safety pack completes the bridge build, featuring a masthead light, stern light, sidelights, a magnetic compass, a sound signaling device, a VHF radio, and emergency signaling flares.
