P570 | SHADOWHAWK 10 R
The Shadowhawk 10 R Riverine Patrol Boat by KND is an ultra-high-speed, heavily armed tactical craft engineered with an aluminium planing hull and an open console superstructure. Purpose-built for high-intensity brown-water operations, shallow-river interception, and tactical troop transport, this vessel measures 10.1 meters in length overall with a 2.9-meter beam and a shallow 0.50-meter draft. Certified under Grey Boat Code classification standards with Bureau Veritas (BUREAU VERITAS) and HPi CE proof validation, the platform handles a maximum full-load displacement of 5.75 tons.
The vessel features an open deck layout built around a tight 500 mm frame spacing. It positions a central steering and command console amidships, bordered by specialized combat positions to support a 10-person crew and troop complement on a 1-day endurance baseline. Optimized for high-speed tactical transits where shedding dead weight is critical, the platform completely omits fresh water and waste water holding tanks (0 L). To establish defensive dominance, the profile and plan views highlight an extensive weapon layout featuring five mounted machine gun stations—one on the centerline bow, two midship positions, and two aft-deck positions.
To ensure rapid acceleration and agility in restrictive waterways, the platform offers two recommended high-performance propulsion and powertrain configurations drawing from a 1,320-liter integrated fuel capacity:
Option A (Outboard): This configuration utilizes a triple outboard motor arrangement delivering a combined 900 hp of recommended installed power (3×300 hp). It propels the craft to a blistering maximum speed of 61.9 knots and a rapid cruising speed of 45.9 knots. At cruise velocity, it burns 148.5 liters of fuel per hour, delivering an operational range of 367 nautical miles at an estimated light displacement of 4.14 tons.
Option B (Jet Drive): Recommended for superior shallow-water debris clearing and agility, this setup utilizes twin inboard waterjets delivering a combined 880 hp of recommended power (2×440 hp). It achieves a maximum speed of 57.7 knots and a steady cruising speed of 46.5 knots. Running at its cruise setting, the jet system burns an efficient 125.8 liters per hour, extending the vessel’s operational range to 439 nautical miles at its full 5.75-ton displacement.
The vessel’s tactical electronics, weapon accessories, and service networks run on a dual 230 VAC and 24 VDC electrical power supply system. True to its lean, high-speed open-deck mission profile, the architecture is supported by a recommended 330 Ah house battery bank and explicitly omits an auxiliary generator set (genset) or air conditioning system.
The command console is anchored by a basic navigation pack centered on a 12-inch multi-function display (MFD) integrated with a VHF DSC radio, AIS tracking, an autopilot system, a 600 W sonar, and a radar system fitted with an 18- or 24-inch dome. Standard compulsory maritime safety and navigation equipment completes the console layout, including an all-round white light, sidelights, a magnetic compass, a sound signaling device, a VHF radio, and emergency flares. For high-threat combat zones, KND offers specialized ballistic shields under its optional extras. In line with KND’s standard technical workflows, these preliminary parameters represent concept-level estimates that remain subject to final design development and detailed engineering modifications.
