P533 | SEAVIPER 19
The SeaViper 19 Patrol & Intercept Vessel by KND is a high-speed, tactical maritime security platform featuring an aluminium planing hull and a matching aluminium wheelhouse superstructure. This specialized configuration measures 18.52 meters in length overall with a 4.5 meters beam and a 0.87-meter draft, operating at a maximum full-load displacement of 26 tons. Certified under the Grey Boat Code classification standards with HPi CE proof validation and Bureau Veritas (BV) oversight, the vessel is engineered to comfortably support a substantial 16-person complement on a single-day endurance basis. To maintain this high-density crew capacity, the internal layout is divided by several watertight bulkheads (WTB) into dedicated zones, featuring an aft troop/crew compartment with specialized seating, a central cabin flanked by multiple collapsible bunks, an integrated galley, and a forward technical space. Onboard liquid logistics include an integrated 3,051-liter fuel capacity, 400 liters of fresh water, and 112 liters of waste water storage.
For rapid-response interception and superior shallow-water maneuverability, the platform relies on a high-performance Jet Drive propulsion arrangement. The recommended powertrain utilizes twin engines delivering a combined 2,400 hp of installed power (2×1,200 hp). This setup drives the interceptor to a blistering maximum speed of 49.3 knots and sustains a rapid cruising speed of 39.7 knots. At this designated cruising velocity, the system operates at a fuel burn rate of 343.2 liters per hour, securing a tactical operational range of 318 nautical miles at an estimated displacement of 26 tons.
The vessel’s extensive electronics grid, climate controls, and defense utilities run on a dual 230 VAC and 48 VDC electrical power supply network. This system is heavily backed by a recommended 3,850 Ah house battery bank and a robust 12 kW / 15 KVA generator set, which powers an approximate 29,500 BTU/h air conditioning system to ensure optimal crew performance and gear cooling during high-stress deployments.
Navigational operations are directed from an advanced command bridge equipped with a premium basic electronics pack centered on a 16-inch multi-function display (MFD). This helm infrastructure is tied together via a unifying NMEA2000 backbone integrating a VHF DSC radio, AIS-B, a 4 kW radar, an autopilot, and a 1 kW sonar. Legally mandated safety and tactical hardware complete the deck layout, including a masthead light, stern light, sidelights, a magnetic compass, a sound signaling device, emergency flares, navigation charts, a GPS/chartplotter, a radar reflector, a depth sounder, and structural provisions for heavy forward and aft armament mounts. KND lists specialized ballistic protection and advanced armament packages under its optional extras to meet varying client requirements. Consistent with the entire design line, these preliminary parameters represent concept-level estimates that remain subject to final design development and detailed engineering modifications.
