The KND Hurricane 48 is a high-speed offshore patrol vessel developed for naval, coast guard and maritime security operations where speed, endurance and mission flexibility are critical.

Designed around a fast aluminium planing hull with waterjet propulsion, the vessel is suited to EEZ patrol, border protection, interception, anti-smuggling operations, fisheries protection, search and rescue support, special operations and offshore security duties. With speeds up to approximately 43 knots and extended patrol range, the Hurricane 48 can rapidly respond to incidents while remaining capable of sustained offshore deployment.
The vessel is arranged to support a complement of up to 31 personnel, with dedicated crew accommodation, command spaces, stores, sick bay and mission areas. A large aft working deck can accommodate a fast boarding or interceptor RIB and additional operational equipment. Optional configurations can include remote weapon systems, ballistic protection and enhanced communication systems, allowing the platform to be tailored to specific navy or coast guard requirements.
