The SeaViper 19 Patrol & Rescue Vessel (profiled in Fire & Rescue livery, hull number 22) by KND is a high-speed, multi-mission tactical platform engineered with an aluminium planing hull and a matching aluminium wheelhouse superstructure. Built to handle grueling emergency response, coastal patrol, and search and rescue (SAR) duties in rough water conditions, this substantial craft measures 19.54 meters in length overall with a 4.85-meter beam and a 0.67-meter draft. Certified under the Grey Boat Code and Bureau Veritas (BV) classification standards with HPi CE proof validation, the vessel manages a maximum full-load displacement of 22.33 tons.

The deck and internal architecture are heavily optimized for rapid response operations. The open aft deck features a dedicated launch and recovery zone marked for UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) operations, a robust aft swim/rescue platform, and an upper superstructure outfitted with an industrial firefighting water cannon (monitor). The vessel accommodates its crew over a 2.5-day operational endurance baseline, supported by a 5,000-liter fuel capacity, 500 liters of fresh water, and 140 liters of waste water storage.

To satisfy differing regional performance priorities, the SeaViper 19 offers two high-performance powertrain options, both delivering a combined 2,400 hp of recommended installed power via twin 1,200 hp engines:

 
  • Option A (Shaft & Propeller): This traditional arrangement drives the vessel to a maximum speed of 44.3 knots and an efficient cruising speed of 34.3 knots. At cruise velocity, it maintains a fuel burn rate of 288 liters per hour, yielding an operational range of 536 nautical miles.

     

    Option B (Jet Drive): Optimized for maximum agility and shallow-water operation, the waterjet configuration pushes the maximum speed to 45.9 knots and cruise speed to 37.0 knots. This high-velocity setup operates at an increased fuel burn rate of 343.2 liters per hour, compressing the cruising range to 486 nautical miles.

The ship’s extensive emergency systems, onboard electronics, and climate controls run on a dual 230 VAC and 48 VDC electrical power supply network. This grid is backed by a recommended 4,670 Ah house battery bank and a robust 14.6 kW / 18.2 KVA generator set, which powers an approximate 36,200 BTU/h air conditioning system to keep the enclosed bridge and crew quarters perfectly climate-controlled.

The command bridge is equipped with a basic navigation pack centered on a 12-inch multi-function display (MFD), integrated via a core electronics backbone with a VHF DSC radio, AIS-B, an autopilot, a 600 W sonar, and a radar system with an 18- or 24-inch dome. Mandatory safety, rescue, and tactical navigation gear rounds out the build, including a masthead light, stern light, sidelights, a magnetic compass, a sound signaling device, emergency flares, navigation charts, a GPS chartplotter, a radar reflector, and a depth sounder. KND lists specialized weapon systems, advanced firefighting gear, and dedicated rescue packs under optional extras to meet client needs. As with all preliminary concept-level estimates in this series, final technical parameters remain subject to design development and detailed engineering modifications.
