The Shuttle 10 CAT Transporterby KND is a high-speed, light commercial passenger catamaran featuring an aluminium planing hull and a matching aluminium wheelhouse superstructure. This agile multi-hull craft measures 10.0 meters in length overall with a 3.5-meter beam and a shallow 0.52-meter draft, operating at a maximum full-load displacement of 6.44 tons. Certified under CE and Bureau Veritas (BV) classification standards with HPi CE proof validation, the water taxi features an open-layout cabin configuration optimized to comfortably transport a 24-passenger complement on a single-day endurance basis. Onboard logistics support includes an integrated 600-liter fresh water capacity and 168 liters of waste water storage.

To ensure rapid transit across busy harbors and waterways, the platform offers two recommended high-performance twin outboard motor configurations drawing from an 880-liter onboard fuel capacity. The primary recommended option features twin 300 hp outboards generating 600 hp of installed power, driving the catamaran to a blistering maximum speed of 45.0 knots and a rapid cruising speed of 33.4 knots. At this cruising velocity, the system maintains a fuel burn rate of 99 liters per hour to deliver an operational range of 267 nautical miles. For configurations prioritizing fuel efficiency, the secondary recommended layout utilizes twin 250 hp outboards providing 500 hp of installed power, achieving a 41.4-knot maximum speed, a 30.7-knot cruise speed, and an expanded operational range of 295 nautical miles.

The vessel’s internal electronics and creature comforts run on a dual 230 VAC and 24 VDC electrical power supply. This grid is supported by a recommended 3,940 Ah house battery bank and an efficient 6.1 kW / 7.7 kVA generator set, which runs an approximate 14,750 BTU/h air conditioning system to keep the passenger cabin climate-controlled. Helm electronics are managed through a basic navigation pack featuring a 12-inch multi-function display (MFD) integrated with a VHF DSC radio, AIS-B transponder, an autopilot, a 600 W sonar, and a radar dome. Compulsory safety gear rounds out the build, including an all-round white light, sidelights, a magnetic compass, a sound signaling device, and emergency flares.
