P380 | SEASAVER 10 CAT

The Seasaver 10 Ambulance Vessel by KND is a high-speed medical rescue craft designed with a rugged aluminium planing hull and a matching aluminium wheelhouse superstructure. This vessel features an overall length of 10 meters, a beam of 3.5 meters, and a shallow draft of 0.5 meters, allowing it to navigate restrictive or shallow coastal environments during critical rescue missions. Certified under the Grey Boat Code with Bureau Veritas and HPi CE proof validation, the craft handles a maximum full-load displacement of 4.18 tons. Its interior layout is purpose-built to accommodate a 6-passenger complement, featuring a main deck configuration optimized for emergency medical response with dedicated space to securely hold two parallel patient stretchers, supported by liquid capacities of 1,200 liters of fuel, 200 liters of fresh water, and 50 liters of waste water.

To ensure rapid transit times during life-saving emergencies, the platform relies on an outboard propulsion system delivering a potent 600 bhp. This configuration propels the ambulance boat to a blistering maximum speed of 48 knots and a rapid cruising speed of 36 knots. Maintaining this cruising velocity yields an extensive operational rescue range of 388 nautical miles, allowing for prolonged coastal or offshore deployment without immediate refueling. The vessel’s medical equipment and climate controls are sustained by a dual 230 VAC and 24 VDC electrical network, supported by a 12 KVA generator set that powers a full air conditioning system to maintain a stable, temperature-controlled environment for patient care.

Advanced situational awareness and navigation are managed via an integrated electronics suite comprising a 12-inch multi-function display (MFD), VHF DSC radio, AIS-B capability, an autopilot, a 600 W sonar, and a radar system utilizing an 18- or 24-inch dome. The vessel comes standard with all legally mandated maritime safety gear, including an all-round white light, sidelights, a magnetic compass, a sound signaling device, and emergency flares. To further adapt the platform for specialized emergency or harbor defense operations, the vessel can be customized with optional upgrades such as a jet drive configuration, ballistic protection, and integrated fire pumps, though these preliminary concept specifications remain subject to engineering updates.
