P375 | SEAVIPER 14

The SeaViper 14 Patrol & Intercept Vessel by KND is a high-speed, tactical security craft constructed with an aluminium planing hull and a matching aluminium wheelhouse superstructure. Engineered for rapid deployment and law enforcement operations, this vessel measures 14.3 meters in length overall with a 4.37-meter beam and a shallow 0.51-meter draft. Certified under CE classification standards with Bureau Veritas (BV) and HPi CE proof validation, the platform handles a maximum full-load displacement of 11.1 tons. The tactical internal layout accommodates a 4-person complement over a 2-day operational endurance baseline, featuring a dedicated forward captain’s cabin, an integrated galley, and specialized shock-mitigation seating at the helm station to support the crew during intense maneuvers.

For high-velocity pursuit and interception, the platform utilizes an advanced IPS Drive arrangement powered by twin engines to deliver a combined 1,600 hp of recommended installed power (noted as hp). This high-performance powertrain configuration drives the vessel to a blistering maximum speed of 56.0 knots and a rapid cruising speed of 43.4 knots. Running at its cruising velocity, the system maintains a fuel burn rate of 192 liters per hour, yielding a tactical operational range of 305 nautical miles from its 1,500-liter integrated fuel tank. To maintain crew sustainability during multi-day operations, the hull incorporates foundational liquid storage capacities, including 200 liters of fresh water and 36 liters of waste water.

The vessel’s comprehensive electronics network, climate control systems, and onboard utilities run on a dual 230 VAC and 48 VDC power supply. This electrical grid is supported by a recommended 3,040 Ah house battery bank and an efficient 9.5 kW / 11.9 KVA generator set, which powers an approximate 22,880 BTU/h air conditioning system to ensure a climate-controlled cabin environment. The command bridge features an advanced navigation pack centered on a 16-inch multi-function display (MFD), fully integrated via an NMEA2000 backbone with a VHF DSC radio, AIS-B, a 4 kW radar, an autopilot, and a 1 kW sonar. Legally mandated maritime safety gear completes the helm array, including a masthead light, stern light, sidelights, a magnetic compass, a sound signaling device, emergency flares, and navigation charts. As with all models in the KND lineup, these preliminary parameters represent concept-level estimates that remain subject to final design development and detailed engineering.
