The KND Hurricane 30 is a 30-meter patrol and intercept vessel designed with an aluminum planing hull and superstructure. This craft features a beam of 6.6 meters and a draft of 0.5 meters, with a maximum full load displacement of 62.91 tons. For propulsion, the vessel utilizes a jet drive arrangement powered by a 3300 hp system, which allows it to reach a maximum speed of 30.4 knots and a cruising speed of 24.5 knots. At its cruising speed, it has a fuel burn rate of 471.9 liters per hour and an operational range of 467 nautical miles.

The vessel is designed to accommodate a complement of 15 people and maintains an endurance basis of 30 days at sea. Its internal capacities include 10,000 liters each for fuel and fresh water, alongside a 3,000-liter waste water tank. The onboard electrical system is supported by a 26.5 kW/33.1 kVA genset and an 8488 Ah house battery bank.
