The Navigator 9.5 Patrol & Intercept Vessel, detailed in the file “KND DATCARDS-NAVIGATOR 9.5.pdf”, is a high-speed tactical craft designed by KND for rigorous coast guard and enforcement operations. Built with a GRP planing hull and an FRP wheelhouse superstructure, this robust vessel measures 9.02 meters in length overall, has a 3.15-meter beam overall, a shallow 0.39-meter draft, and a maximum full-load displacement of 3.75 tons. Certified to CE and Bureau Veritas standards, the boat is configured for single-day missions with a 4-passenger complement, featuring an 880-liter fuel capacity while carrying zero fresh or waste water.

The vessel offers two distinct propulsion arrangements tailored to different operational requirements. The high-performance Outboard configuration features twin 300 hp engines (600 hp total) to unleash a blistering maximum speed of 60.8 knots and a cruising speed of 45.1 knots, burning 99 liters per hour to cover a range of 361 nautical miles. Alternatively, the Shaft & Prop arrangement uses a 300 hp setup to achieve a maximum speed of 41.7 knots and a cruising speed of 32.3 knots, which slashes fuel consumption to 36 liters per hour and extends the operational cruise range to 710 nautical miles.

Despite its compact tactical footprint, the enclosed cabin provides substantial crew support, utilizing a 230 VAC and 24 VDC power supply backed by a 6 kW / 7.6 kVA genset and a recommended 3,870 Ah house battery bank. This electrical grid drives an onboard air conditioning system delivering approximately 14,500 BTU/h to maintain climate control during intense operations. Mission navigation is managed through a comprehensive package featuring a multi-function display, VHF DSC, GPS, and depth/speed tracking instruments—with optional AIS—alongside compulsory gear like a magnetic compass, sound signals, and emergency flares.
