Designed to meet ISO/CE classification standards, the craft features a draft of 1.40 meters and a lightship displacement of 40 to 45 tons. It is powered by a twin-engine configuration—compatible with Volvo Penta, Boudouin, or MTU units—delivering a combined 1,680 bhp to achieve a maximum speed of 28 to 30 knots. Operators have the flexibility to choose between propeller and shaft, IPS, or jet drive propulsion systems, which support a cruising speed of 25 knots and an operational range of 593 nautical miles.
For mission endurance and crew welfare, the vessel is equipped with a 7,200-liter fuel capacity, 1,500 liters of fresh water, and a waste water tank ranging from 200 to 500 liters. The electrical infrastructure includes a 20 KVA generator set that powers a full air conditioning system, facilitating patient care within the 8 to 12 person capacity. The bridge is outfitted with a comprehensive navigation suite, including radar, GPS/chartplotter, and communication safety equipment, ensuring reliability during medical operations. Additionally, the Seasaver 20 M MEDEVAC offers optional extras such as custom design layouts and extended superstructures for ferry operations to meet specific deployment requirements.
